I did complete first drafts but not for in class peer review. I did my first draft on the 5th of march and had another student read it over. she gave me some pointers on how to revise and then I made the corrections a couple days later on the 10th for my final draft.

major points and first draft

today I am going over my major points of my essay and preparing to write my first draft. since I am turning my paper in on the 17th I took a few days off to make sure I have the correct research.

what I do and do not know/Thesis plan

I took the first couple days to figure out what I knew already, and then did the research on what I did not know. I spent about 2 days for a total of about 4 hours constructing it together and now I think I am ready to start on my introduction. also I plan to start work on my thesis today as well.

quotes selection

On Friday and over the weekend I did research on my new topic and now I'm at the selecting quotes section of my essay. Hopefully by tomorrow I will be able to submit a first draft

quotation selection

Today I finished my section on the thesis and now I'm working on selecting quotations. I will probably go down to the writing center to get help on my selection before adding them to my paper. this should take about 2 hours counting the writing center.

thesis plan and develpoment

today I worked on more of my focus as well as my thesis plan and development. I am not sure how much time I will spend on it though. probably will be off and on for the next couple days

what my research told me

Today I spent some time reviewing what I already knew, and then figuring out what my research told me. It took me maybe 45 minutes overall to complete this part of the essay assignment

what I need to know

Today I am finishing up the what I know portion of my essay 3 and will be starting focus on what I still need to know. since I will be doing research today i will probably spend an 1 hour and 30 minutes on it today

Second

Today I will be starting my second draft of my essay. I will probably look over my work on the first rough draft i did or take it to the writing center for revision before I start on it.

Rough Draft

Today I will attempt to write what will probably be 1 of a couple first drafts. I like writing my drafts with what I consider to be limited amount of mistakes. I will however use my first paper's revision by the teacher to help with formatting my essay. this should take me about an hour or so to get this compete.

topic sentences

Today I am going to spend time going over my information that I gathered to try and come up with some topic sentences for my essay. I will probably only spend about 15-20 minuets doing this

Finding my focus

today I spent time working on finding a focus to my essay number2. I spent about 30 min gathering all my data so that I can get a clear starting point.
